Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding
Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Nigeria Polytechnics Foundation (NIPOF) and LuqKnight Limited to establish a strategic partnership for the joint development, promotion, financing, and implementation of the Green Technical Institutions Transformation Programme (GTITP). Representing NIPOF at the signing were Dr. Babangida Albaba (Chairman’s Representative) and Dr. Zakari Abdullahi (Secretary). Witnessing the event were Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), and Dr. Sakwa, Director of SERVICOM at NBTE.

The Federal Government on Wednesday inaugurated the Nigeria Polytechnic Foundation (NIPOF) in Abuja, with the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, saying the initiative will reposition polytechnics as drivers of innovation and national development.

NIPOF Participates in Landmark TVET Conference as NBTE Unveils 46 AI/ML Models
NIPOF was well represented at the International Conference and Seminar for TVET Lecturers held on 25th to 27th November 2025 at NBTE Liaison Office, Abuja.
Our representatives, Dr. Zakari Abdullahi and Dr. Babangida Albaba, joined other stakeholders as NBTE introduced 46 AI/ML models and launched the new intranet-based research hub for Nigerian polytechnics.
